Avitu uses established physiological formulas to derive your daily macro targets from your training plan, day structure (sleep, work, activity levels), and athlete profile (weight, height, age, sex). Every calculation is transparent — you can tap any target to see the exact formula behind it. No black-box AI.

Which training platforms does Avitu integrate with? +

Avitu integrates with Intervals.icu (training plans, activities, biometrics), Strava (activities), and Wahoo (activities). Once connected, your training data is automatically synced to generate accurate daily fueling targets.

How is Avitu different from MyFitnessPal? +

MyFitnessPal is a passive food diary with generic, static targets. Avitu is a performance fueling instrument: your nutrition targets change every day based on your training plan and context. A Zone 2 day has different targets than a threshold interval day. Avitu understands glycogen demands, recovery windows, and carb loading.

Does Avitu use AI? +

No. Avitu is deliberately algorithm-based, not AI-based. Every target is derived from proven scientific formulas. The output is deterministic and reproducible: the same inputs always produce the same targets.

What is TSS and why does it matter for nutrition? +

TSS (Training Stress Score) is a standardised measure of training load derived from ride duration and intensity relative to your threshold power or heart rate. It directly correlates with glycogen depletion. Avitu ingests your TSS from connected platforms and uses it to calculate precise carbohydrate targets for recovery and next-day performance.
